Organisational development team scoops CIPD award

The Organisational Development team has just been named a finalist in the CIPD People Management Awards 2019.

We were shortlisted for our entry to ‘Super T’ Team Development in the best coaching and mentoring initiative category.

The executive team coaching programme kicked off in August 2017. Starting with eight of the most senior teams, it formed part of a quality improvement strategy aimed at addressing the concerns of healthcare regulator, CQC.

Alwen Williams, CEO, said: “Super T has given us a real understanding, both individual and collective, of the value of multidisciplinary working and the look and feel of functional, high performance teams."

During the second stage of judging, we will present to an expert panel of CIPD judges, after which the winners will be announced at an awards dinner in London on Tuesday 24 September. Fingers crossed!

“In February 2019, the Trust was lifted out of quality special measures - a significant step forward for all of us,” said Geraldine Cunningham, Associate Director of Culture Change. “We still have work to do but as an OD team we are proud to have played our part in our Trust’s journey of improvement.”
