SBH nuclear medicine team

Congratulations to the nuclear medicine team and Wise Seadzi for winning our October hero of the month awards

The nuclear medicine team has undergone many changes and experienced a major restructuring.

Since then, the team has made significant improvements in staff retention and wellbeing, and we all feel supported and valued. The department has grown and we continue to strive for more while keeping the WeCare values in mind.

The department has also undergone CQC, EA, and other audits/inspections, excelling in all of them.

Wise Seadzi is the St Bartholomew's October hero of the month

It has been a pleasure to witness the improvement and dedication of this team.

Nuclear medicine is a small team within the Barts Family, but our ambition is exemplary!

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Wise, a receptionist at St Bartholomew’s Hospital (cancer services) for the exceptional care he showed during my mother’s recent chemotherapy appointment.

After a previous experience where my mother was made to wait a long time, causing her distress, Wise immediately approached her as we walked in, warmly apologising for the inconvenience. His words were both sincere and comforting as he said, "I’m truly sorry for the wait you experienced last time. We are here to support you in every way we can." He went on to encourage my mother, saying: "Stay strong and positive, ma’am, you’re doing so well. We’re all here for you, whatever you need."

This compassionate reassurance completely shifted my mother’s mood and left a lasting positive impression on us both. Wise’s kindness and professionalism elevated our experience during such a challenging time.
