Four staff members honoured for over 25 years of service

Staff members holding long service gift

Four dedicated colleagues from Newham Hospital have been recognised for their outstanding commitment, each receiving a long-service award for more than 25 years of service. Just before Christmas, the colleagues were presented with a small gift to celebrate their invaluable contributions over the years.

The awards celebrate the contributions of staff who have spent decades supporting patients, families, and our wider hospital.

Among them is Adwoa Amankwah (pictured) who works as a patient-pathway coordinator to support our cardiology service. Felicia Polimus and Anthony Gavin Hill (also pictured), are key members of our patient transport team, and ensure patients get to and from appointments safely, with care and kindness. And Scott Oliver, works in the mortuary and provides compassionate support during difficult times for families.

The long service awards are awarded to those who have completed 15, 25, and 40 years of continuous service with Barts Health, or one of our legacy organisations.

Congratulations to Adwoa, Felicia, Anthony and Scott for your incredible service!
