We are the 2018 Emergency Medicine Team of the Year

The Royal London Emergency Department team has won The Royal College of Emergency Medicine’s Clinical Team of the Year 2018.

This is an outstanding achievement, marking the innovative, resilient and caring department that we are. 

Karim Ahmad, A&E consultant at The Royal London Hospital said: "Congratulations to everyone. The award represents the dedicated exemplary work the whole team does 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

The RCEM Annual Awards, in its second year, was created to showcase excellence, celebrate success within the specialty and to encourage interest in Emergency Medicine.

Dr Taj Hassan, President of the Royal College of Emergence Medicine, added: “The RCEM showcase the fantastic work and patient-centred care being delivered in emergency departments across the country."
