Nurses’ Day event celebrates the work of our nurses and midwives

In the Great Hall at St Bartholomew’s Hospital on 9 May 2019 we took time to reflect upon the achievements of our nurses and midwives over the last year.

Nurses and midwives from across the Trust attended the evening of celebration for the International Day of the Midwife and Nurses’ Day. It was a night full of pride and recognition for all Barts Health nurses past and present. 

A number of awards were presented including the Perfect Ward, Sign up to Safety award, a volunteers’ award, leadership awards for each site and the midwifery service.
