NatSSIPs training workshop: making harm free care a priority

This training workshop is for clinicians involved in invasive surgical procedures, governance, quality and safety leads, patient safety leads, commissioners and anyone with responsibility for developing and implementing  the new NatSSIPs/LocSSIPs.

Workshop dates:

  • Tuesday 13 September 2016
  • Monday 14 November 2016

Activities throughout the day will include:

  • A discussion of your specific concerns and queries regarding the NatSSIPs and development of your LocSSIPs
  • An exploration of the key speciality specific challenges to LocSSIP implementation
  • Learn from our ideas, strategies and experience to date of our own Barts Health LocSSIPs development journey
  • Consider how to engage clinical and managerial staff in development and implementation of the NatSSIPs/LocSSIPs
  • Take away valuable resources to help you plan and develop your LocSSIPs, raise awareness of the NatSSIPs in your Trust and engage your staff This training workshop is aimed at clinicians involved in invasive surgical procedures, governance, quality and safety leads, patient safety leads, commissioners and anyone with responsibility for developing and implementing the new NatSSIPs/LocSSIPs

The course fees are:

  • Early bird rate until 1 August 2016: £375
  • NHS rate: £425
  • Private sector rate: £550

This is a non-profit event and all monies raised will support development of further training and resources to improve quality and patient safety at Barts Health NHS Trust.
